Valve's "Steam Box" Unveiled

I'm actually pretty excited that Valve is (sort of) getting into the market for consoles. I think this is the first step to a full fledged console with PC upgradability and quality. This is essentially that, but is still considered a PC from what I understand. But with the release of Steam Big Picture and the use of an HDMI capable television, this can basically be a console.
Thoughts?

1 ReplyBut, Linux. I think its an interesting idea, but they sure as hell did a piss poor job of unveiling it. As far as I can understand, the Steambox is comparable to Android, in the sense that the idea is shared across various devices. So the one we saw from X3i is theirs, but there are more coming? That's how I understood it at least, which is a bit confusing. We just need more clarity, and more information.
