Bungie.next has provided us a with a wealth of new features that permit users to customize their viewing of what can lightly be considered the most bastardized forum design in recent history. While I'm sure users such as dazarobbo are in ecstasy at the ability to ignore users, like and dislike posts, filter threads that are not popular, and see fully integrated social networking, not everyone shares this sentiment.
We have been granted what would seem a great flexibility in the organization of the forum and discussions. While there are minor issues, such as the fact that it's easier to tell if an employee replied than anyone else, or the blinding white design, these are are matters for the aesthete. What concerns me is that despite this almost daunting introduction of customizable organization, we don't have the ability to disable it.
I should mention that I am very thankful that you included the option to disable notifications; this is a wonderful start. There are some here, either resentful to move on or simply smart enough to realize how terrible a dislike system is, that would assuredly like to customize their forum viewing to a more Bungie.previous style, where topics are not defaultly sorted by popularity or tags, and posts do not show likes/dislikes.
Surely, with the emphasis on customization and personalized user experience, it would be something to consider.
