I'm just going to keep posting because it seems like we're actually not going to flame each other... Kingcream, you are right. It is easy to come up with something along those lines. But it is about the music most of the time. Not all lyrics are that generic. Most people listen to certain songs because they relate them to moments or moods in their lives anyways. If you took a different genre, it's lyrics could be pulled apart and called dumb just as easily. It's all dependent on the individual. I won't lie, most emo bands make me want to puke. Mainly because they're jumping on this hipster bandwagon that's passing by. Then there are the kids with nothing wrong in their lives taking the music too far. That aggrivates me more than poseurs. They cause damage to themselves and others when that's not what the music is supposed to be about. I'm ranting. *stops*
