I know this has got to be the lamest thing that you've ever heard but if your looking for a friend on Final Fantasy 11 post something here

Uh, it's not that simple, anyhow. FFXI, like any other MMORPG, has multiple servers. A player can be on Bahamut, and his friend on Titan, and they'll never see each other, because they're basically in different universes.
