Ok I waited years for this, I won't be reserving the 3 Halo. Now I understand what makes a game good. Originality, doing something different fresh, new. Thats what made Halo good. But you have to understand that when you buy as many games as I do and all these other incredible titles comes out, you get a little tired of waiting for a 2 year old game with some polish on it. Heres what hit me that wrong way. - GRAPHICS - Of course expecting the best. When I fired up the game, textures just "popping" up out of no where was instantly recognizalbe in the opeing movie. When you are running around and textures pop up on dead bodies 20 feet in front of you, it takes away from the game a little. -STORY- I was so thrilled to see that the game was going to take place on earth, the Covenant invading our home planet, it would make the game a little more emmersive than the repetitve alien hallways of the first game *cough*. Ok, the talking flood plant? ARE YOU KIDDING? I wanted to believe it was a joke. I'm 23 years old and Disney has no place in Halo - I was expecting the plant to yell "Feed me Eddy". And if you don't make the direct corrolation between the plant and Little Shop of Horrors, you're probably not old enough to play a mature game. The ending...I've actually heard someone call it "amazing". If you're that easily ammused, congradulations I'm jelous that I have to like "good stuff". -GAMEPLAY- Single player, not much had changed. Multiplayer had improper weapon balance and all that was great about the first had been removed. Jump to high, gernades suck, no intermediate range weapons yada, yada, yada. In closing Bungie should have never of released the information that it did before the game came out. There were so many features that added another layer to a great game that were cut. Other things that were fine were changed. All in all, this was not the greatest game of all time and Halo should still be the king of the crown with Xbox.
