We need to advance past RoEs. They are killing our soldiers. An infamous RoE is the do not shoot unless shot at first. That doesn't help when they have an RPG or sniper rifle aiming right at your head, you can't fire back because you are now paste. We need to be more worried about killing a few more of them and saving a few more of us. People often say that we need to "be the bigger person". That is a load of horse -blam!- and they know it. We need to fight on the same level as these guys; we need to get rid of the damn geneva convention (what are they going to do to us anyway); we need to assassinate their leaders when needed; we need to higher mercs that know urban and guerilla warfare better than we do. I am a Roman Catholic as well, but there is a time and a place when you need to fight wars.
