WTF Mate?

Ok, so I try to be helpful. I go to the forums, and when I see a topic that dosen't belong, I say so. I'm just trying to help and let some of the new people know where the stuff belongs because they might not know. But of course, I get flamed because of this. Why do these people have the need to flame people who try to follow the rules, or help others? Man I want to call those guys such n**bs, but I hold back, adn try and think of a more polite way of saying it =P. Any ways, do you guys have any idea of how we might be able to try and increase the amount of respect we have for each other. I mean one guy said he would kill me if he found me, you tell me how nice that it...

 • Let's say John Smith creates a thread called "Halo 02 tips and tricks" in the Septagon. Okay, you come along and see it's in the wrong place, but you also see that they probably have no idea they're posting in the wrong place. So what you do, is tell them all the Halo 02 tips and tricks you know, and then as sort of an after thought, tell them, "In case you didn't know, John Smith, there are different Forums for different threads and this one belonged in New Mombasa. Thanks. I hope my post helped you. ;]" Now.. wouldn't you, as John Smith, like to see that response rather than no answer and a "This belongs in New Mombasa."? You would appreciate your question being answered even though it was in the wrong place and then probably apologize for not knowing you posted in the wrong place. That's just how I see it as. Tell me your thoughts. ;]
