Basically, Del Rio is an 'okay' captain, but holds no awe/loyalty/respect from his crew. Lasky = Parangosky's favored/chosen head on infinity. It doesn't STATE that Del Rio is incompetent or pathetic as a captain, it just implies it. (Or he prefers to play things safe)
