Port forwarding a 360 is by far the most infuriating thing.

That or AT&T is by far the most infuriating ISP. Seems everytime I google a guide its ALWAYS linksys. And NEVER the AT&T interface. I even went to AT&T's port forwarding guide...Oop, go figure after I did everything they tell me to do my NAT is still moderate. So...Flood, what is a good isp that doesn't give you a sucky nat?

 •
Posted by: JimReaper
Posted by: SHOTTY SNIP3R Why don't you just DMZ instead of port forwarding? Just make your Xbox IP static and then Turn DMZ on for your Xbox IP. It might not be on all routers though..
This is exactly how I did mine months ago. All games show NAT as open since doing this.
I QoS AND DMZ'd my xbox. GET ON MY LEVEL SON /shot
Posted by: Geoffrey603
Posted by: Jin Kisaragi DMZ your xbox, OP. That opens up all the ports for your xbox automatically. To do it, goto your router's webpage, find out what your xbox 360's ip address is, put that in DMZ. Done. Might want to make your 360 IP static (it's automatic by default) though.
Agreed, it is that simple. The most important thing is that the ip is "static" so that the dmz will always apply to your PC or Xbox rather than any ip assigned device which happens to get that ip. Sorry for mixing PC and xbox up, I'm tired and I heard Quake.
Holy shiz. NEVER DMZ YOUR HOME PC. that's the worst idea you can ever do [Edited on 10.12.2012 5:25 AM PDT]
