Regardless, playing a game that requires immediate input on the output (like a FPS) with people across continental distances is ridiculous; latency proves too big a factor. The player/s closest to the server have such a huge advantage it's just crazy, and anti-lag code to compensate those who aren't just screws the game up. Online play over great distances is just not fair in any manner. I only Quake with Aussies, no Americans. Kiwis are forced to play on Aussie servers because they don't have their own, but that's okay; the distance is tolerable, in fact, it's shorter than Perth to Sydney.
