Character development requires thought and good writing, and FUD is pulling this off very well so far. Haters gonna hate.
Now that is pure BS, whats more expensive, people showing emotion and talking or pyrotechnics, stunts, and good practical effects? I dont want it to be devoid of character development, just not a 99% focus on it. They are almost entirely focusing on characters prior to recently we didnt even know, did they have fans before now? I genuinly dont like this show and find it a dissapointment, i appreciate everything 343's done apart from this. /OPINION, so calm down.
Ok, let's see. They've got a limited budget spread out over a few episodes. What do you expect? That they go all pew-pew 99.99% of the time in each episode?? Established character development is what drives a good audience to have attachments toward specific characters when all hell is set loose upon these soldiers. Clearly, they're saving the majority of the action for the final episodes.
I think people need to notice it as a full length film in parts, we're still at the beginning, of course we're not at the action yet, they are setting up the dominos and in the middle and end of the film the action will take place and the character development thus will have more of an impact toward viewers cause of this. Simple story writing, right there.
