What have you done for the community?

(Ninjas and employees, this question isn't really about you. :P) So you love Bungie, right? You love the games, you love the people, you queued up at midnight for your copy of Halo 3 and then wrote several angry threads about Reach when it wasn't exactly the same game with better guns. You've been here for years, squealed like a girl that one time an employee posted in your thread, thought about starting a private group that you thought could be "like the Flood but more chill and relaxed and we can cuss and stuff". You've seen big names come and go, and voted in at least one popularity thread per month, as is mandated under the ToS as a condition of your membership. But what have you actually done for this community? The Septagon is a beautiful perfect circle of ass-kissing and repeat threads, and I realise that's why some people love it. People post with authority despite the fact that they don't have any, and people flock to their posts for no reason other than to keep the machine going. But what have any of you actually done? How have you made the community better? How do you think your contributions, either on an individual scale or as part of something bigger, have left their mark on this site, no matter how big or small? This isn't a criticism, or a demand for credentials. I just want to know how you see yourselves and your place here. I want to know whether or not you think your voice matters, and why. More than anything, I want to get a sense of what you think it takes to make a difference, and how far you'd be willing to go to do it.
