The greater American public sees Britain as the villains of the Revolution and America as the heroes because it's the story of their own formation. the British just see it as "Yeah, that's a thing that happened once. We used to control that land, now we don't," it isn't a story of heroes and villains. Which is why in the NA trailers there's no footage of killing the Americans because that would be killing the "heroes," but you kill the British all the time in their trailers because they're just taking it as historical accuracy.[/quote] Well put.
