Disbanding a Chapter
Can someone please help me. I need to disband a chapter. I was going to take it over, but it seems that people have lost interest. So instead of trying to reserect the dead, I want to disband this one and start fresh with my own. Any ideas on how to disband it?

Just make your own chapter. After that, make a link in HCC to your new chapter. After a few weeks, kick everyone from HCC but the founder and yourself. 3 months later the chapter will disappear. [Edited on 9/28/2004 8:40:55 AM]

There must be an administrator (Or the equivalent of that) at all times in a chapter. If the admin leaves, the next guy in command will automatically get upgraded. The only way to disband is to kick everyone out of the chapter and then leave it.

The last member can't leave.

The last member can indeed leave, Rip, by selecting "Leave this Group" or using Admin Tools (if they have permission). When they do, the Group disappears. At the moment, this causes an exception. That's been fixed and will be propped live soon, however. -=DRB=-

A web service sweeps the Groups occasionally and auto-promotes the next-eldest member to Full Control (Admin), if none exist. -=DRB=-

If everyone leaves a chapter, it is immediately disbanded.

yeah, kick out everyone, includinh youself and the group will be gone forever
