Halo 2 Playlist Update & Stat Reset
Tonight is the night for the long awaited Halo 2 Xbox Live Matchmaking Playlist update and ranking reset. Tombstone and Desolation will be required for some of the playlists and if you purchased them before Monday, 5/7, you will need to download them again before you can play online. Both maps will become free in early July.

and also bring back some of the old playlist like rumble armory (who didnt enjoy a different weapons set once in a while?) so that real players will come back. there are only some really good halo 2 players around now most people rely on glitches and hiding in corners w8ing for someone who they can kill because they suck at the game (although some glitches r okay because they take skill and good reflexis BXR for example) because halo 2 isnt the game it used 2 be

i agree ranked rumble pit was pretty much the only ranked game where u didnt have 2 depend on ur teammates who sometimes r crappy. most of the time i cant even win a ranked match because my teammates suk. it ends usually with my team losing Me: 22 kills, Teammate 1: 8 kills, Teammate 2: 4 kills, Teammate 3: quits when the enemy team was ahead by 4 so 0 kills. pretty much the only way i can even rank up is 2 party wit my friends who dont suk. other than that i lose a lot so pls bring bak ranked rumble pit and also bring back btb ranked. in btb unranked in 8 out of 10 matches everyone quits because they didnt get the energy sword or some crap like that. in ranked matches they are usually played out because if the people quit they will lose rank and they dont want that so pls bring those 2 gametypes back and also BUNGIE OWNS SO THEY MADE SOME MISTAKES LETS SEE WHOEVER INSULTE THEM MAKE A GAME AS SUCCESFUL AS HALO AND HALO 2 AND HALO 3 IT AINT EASY SO QUIT WHINING. thats all ( o and for the people who got charged like 32$ because they kept redownloading the maps that is their fault. they should have realized after the 2nd time that it wasnt working. seriously im not even 18 and i realize that. so if they're stupid thats their fault, and if they cant afford 4 bucks then they should either: 1 sell their internal organs 2GET FREAKIN LIVES 3 move to korea where everything is cheaper 4 get out of the barney suit and find REAL jobs or 5 take some advice from a dude who isnt 18 and get a financial plan 6 or six sell their game console cause if they cant afford a 4 dollar update they shouldnt have a console or this game anyway (obviously) [Edited on 07.05.2007 2:17 AM PDT]

y in team snipers i was a level 50 and in slayer a level 42 it is so -blam!- -blam!- they had to reset it man i am pissed all that hard work 4 nothing n i don't have a credit card either so in team hardcore i was a 30 and double team i was a 36 until the other day my cousin played my account and now i am stuck on a 14 in double team and it hardcore i am a 9.

Anybody know wtf is up?[/quote] I had the same problem myself, and actually went to where it told me to go (Xbox.com) and found out how to fix it. All you have to do is go in the Xbox Dashboard, then in the Marketplace go into the Account Management and click payment options and RE-verify your credit card. I have my cc on it too, and its not letting me buy the new maps. Halo 2 is lame when you can't play the types of games with the 'required maps'. Can anyone enlighten us on how to download these maps? Thanks for any help.

ok i hav the answer 2 the halo 2 blastacu;ar map pack problem u hav to go and get a pre paid (or nomal) credit card at like cvs or a groucery store or a bank and just go 2 payment options then add credit card and it will not affect pre paid xbox live cards ether so u can still get ur credit for tht and keep using them also even wit a pre paid credit card just put like 5 or 6 $ and then just download them the blastacular map pack ok there u go ur welcome.

yep im getting the same problem, and honestly this is bull, we shouldnt have to pay for this if we are xbox live users because now we can barely even play halo 2 on live! This is ridiculous Bungie, even if the do go free in a month, its still ridiculous! i am wy pissed off about the loss of rumble pit unless you buy the new maps. "The only person you can count on in life is yourself," and this is ever so true in matchmaking which is why i love rumble pit over all other game types. GIVE BACK RUMBLE TRAINING atleast.
