How should we approach this?
Should a user PM a mod with proof and then have a mod edit the thread saying it is "confirmed"?

IMO, these threads are dumb. If I cared about your profession, I would look it up myself. If you want to make a thread with discussion value about a profession, then that's fine. But just "I'm a _______, ask me questions!" is not. © [Edited on 12.02.2012 8:42 PM PST]
