Destiny: What do YOU want from it?

TL;DR: What do you want out of Destiny? Gameplay-wise, graphically, story-wise, anything. Wow. It has been an age and a half since I last posted something. Anyways, in light of the recent leaks(poor Bungie), I thought I'd ask this since the only topic on Destiny I've seen thus far have all been predicting what it's about, what type of game it is, etc. Since this last leak has given us a much better idea of what the game is, as well as the direction of the art and overall style, I figured we've all got some ideas about what the game will feel like. However, as Bungie has already said something about how eventually Destiny will be more the gamers' than theirs (implying an amount of user involvement hopefully going beyond just user generated content like the maps made from Halo's Forge), I thought I'd ask this: What do YOU, personally, want to see come out of Destiny? I'd like to see a greater focus on exploration, and rewards for exploring--similar to games like the Elder Scrolls series, Assassins Creed 3, Far Cry (at least the third one, from what I hear), Fallout, etc. A greater focus on immersion would be nice, as well. Despite being a first person game, I never felt truly connected to my Halo experience. Reach was the closest, primarily because I got to create my very own Noble Six, but I'd like to see immersion in the HUD, the UI, and maybe some RPG elements? [Edited on 11.27.2012 9:09 PM PST]

 • Exploration sounds cool, but I don't want this game to be Borderlands. I like the way ODST did it and hope they continue with that (which they likely will). I'm hoping that Bungie stays away from perks and unbalanced customization and instead just adds a lot of abilities everyone can use for the hopefully awesome and likely existing multiplayer. Maybe a Jetpack for everyone? Sounds a bit Tribes-ey to me, but that's cool anyway. I don't know. I would welcome something like Counterstrike, or a new system altogether. I really can only imagine what Bungie may be thinking. The multiplayer/single player must be very strategic/competitive for me to love this game. No strategy, and I'm going to cry (Halo was very strategic). [Edited on 12.04.2012 3:32 PM PST]
