Fear the impending flood

No, not the parasitic organism hellbent on galactic destruction, nor even it's far worse counterpart the off-topic forum. What you must fear is the incoming flood-tide of humanity that will be swarming to this website after Bungie announces Destiny, which I believe will probably be at the VGAs. You thought the darkness was horror? Who among us remembers the announcement of Halo 3 or Halo Reach? Was not the sudden influx of ignorant members far worse than this present darkness? All false eloquence aside, how do you guys feel about the fact that there will soon be far more new members than veteran ones?

I see what you mean, but getting some new members on the site far out weighs the repeat threads we will see IMO.[/quote] QFT I come on these forums once a week or so, usually to post late in a flame or septagon thread, because the activity's so minimal right now any thread worth posting in is getting posts from everybody. Most other threads end up locked anyway. New members are needed if Bungie's community is going to evolve beyond the Halo era of 2000-2010's, ready for the next decade. Hopefully Bungie.next is going to be the place to be for gamers of the next console cycle. We're just the veterans and early-birds.
