Should I regret attending a small college vs a big party School?

I am going to attend a small liberal arts school outside of Boston, which is very academically focused. I decided not to attend the larger party school like Boston U, should I regret my decision? I am serious and need a serious answer, was my decision the right one based on the flood's own knowledge and experience? I kind of feel like I'll miss that college experience that is about parties and crazy things. [Edited on 11.19.2012 8:35 PM PST]

I guess people that choose a uni based on the career they want to get into are all nerds. In a few years time remember to ask if the customer would like coke for the drink.
Which is why I'm studying mechanical engineering and maintaining 3.8. I'm smarter than you and I socialize better than you. Keep living your pathetic life. I also like how my point flew right over your head too, further proving your stupidity.
FYI im also taking mechanical engineering, and while my GPA isnt a 3.8 im glad im not an idiot like you.
So we establish that I have a higher GPA than you, and better social skills than you, yet I'm an idiot. You look pretty desperate. Just accept the fact that college is about academics and broader social development. People who confine themselves to their dorm to study all the time are doomed to miss out on the college experience.
Having a good GPA doesnt mean you cant be an idiot. And being a -blam!- doesnt mean you have great social skills. The only one looking deperate here is the guy constantly telling people how cool he is because he goes to parties and studies engineering. Youve got your priorities messed up buddy. Youd make a lousy engineer.
