Special Q&A Today!
For this week's update, Frankie and I are going to take questions from the field and answer them online in a psuedo real-time chat format using the Bungie.net forums. Things are bound to get a little hectic but we think it will be fun.
The first thing we need people to do is ask questions! You can do that in the news forum - easily accessible by clicking the "discuss this story" link at the bottom of this page.
Before you ask your questions, keep these points in mind:
1. NO QUESTIONS ABOUT CAMPAIGN or the STORY! (we won't even acknowledge these questions)
2. Don't spam and ruin this for everyone. We'll be banning people.
3. Questions about life inside Bungie, the final crunch, Alta's haircut, the Beta, etc.. are all fair game.

We'll hang out for an hour or so and have some fun. =)

The chances are that they'll close the topic and then start answering the questions, in order to make it more managable.

BTW, pretty much all the quetions that could be asked have already been asked. I say that we just be quiet and wait for a response. Its probably taking a lot of time for them to reply to all these Q's.

Will Halo 2 have captions/subtitles so that deaf people can follow along with the incredible storyline that you guys have made? And yes, that was sucking up a bit :)

From what Bungie has said you can make your own and upload them from Bungie.net and only you or people that you allow can use this image, or possibly a clan only option? Yo... Wondering if one of you bungie slaves could devulge a little more info on ranked games... Will they totally be random, or can I count on not having -blam!-dar ... errr radar... Also beyond just recognizing clans, will there be online ladders/leagues? Thanks boys

in the first halo, you could take a needle to the face with no shields and take the same amount of damage as a needle to the foot so my question is if area specific damage is just for vehicles or not

Apologies if this has already bean asked: In one of your earlier updates, it was mentioned that one particular Halo 2 multiplayer map was being modeled after the classic Marathon netgame arena, Mars Needs Women. Could you tell us if there is going to be anything else in the game similar to Marathon? Or anything being made with Marathon in mind? On that same note, is Jones designing any levels to try to atone for the grievous sins of Colony Ship For Sale, Cheap? (Sorry Jason, but All Roads Lead To Sol just didn’t quite do it.)

"hi is it ture that the atv is out? is there going to be the normal health bar with 8 bars and 75 points of damage like in halo or will there be more health and sheilds? in halo there were 150 points of damage. i hope you can get more of both since you get the new suit " As of what I know and what Bungie has told us, there is NO health bar. Just the super shield. They based it off the books where it says the new "armor" fixes all cuts, wounds, burns and ect. So once you get hit you have about 4-7 bullets to go and your dead. But if you live, your health restores. There ar eno health packs, only super oversheilds. This is all from what bungie has given us and maybe they'll pull a fast one and put the health bar in.. - Trigun

oops i forgot to ask.. will there be "dedicated" servers? or are all games going to be hosted by a person activly playing? i hate it when the host gets up and leaves because theyre losing! leaving the rest of us finding a new game because were not able to host :( (also, people who host usually are the gods of the game because theyve got 0 ping!) question: will the pistol still be 1 shot to the head and your dead? how about using the battle rifle? question: is the atv in or out of the game? question: how many total guns will there be? question: has the game speed/RUN speed changed? thanks!
