Anyone getting Anarchy Reigns today?
It's finally coming out in North America after a half-year delay, and it comes out in Europe this week as well. I can't wait to jump in finally, I was playing the Japanese demo last night to remember the game.
For anyone who doesn't know what it is. It's an online multiplayer beat 'em up. It adopts many elements from other multiplayer games such as item spawns, a leveling system, dynamic respawns, etc. and there are also random events that will occur while you play (cars fly across the stage, black holes appear, mutants attack, etc.). It also has [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypVii_9QDgQ]the best soundtrack[/url] since MadWorld, and it's only $30 if you live in North America, and it's also budget priced in Europe. PlatinumGames is making it, so if you liked Bayonetta or Vanquish, you'll like this for sure.

I think you can buy her and the two extra modes on XBL/PSN in Japan though, so you'll probably be able to grab her down the line if you wait. The game itself is great, the demo (that Sega chose not to release outside of Japan) was a ton of fun. My only real concern is how active the playerbase will be online on the 360, but at least there are bots. I may end up buying it for both systems since it's cheap though. But yeah, the combat is very satisfying and the netcode from what I've seen looks pretty good. The single-player looks kind of average, but the multiplayer is the real meat of the game so it's not a big deal.
