What made the past Halo games fun?
It's the question that's been dwelling in my mind for some time now. I came up with an answer for myself, but I wanted to know everybody else's.
So, what do you think? What made the past Halo games fun?

Custom Games. Like everyone else said, exploration. You could go just about anywhere in past Halo games, now you've got the 10 second return everywhere. Even though Reach had it we could still get passed it, H4 just ruins it. I remember playing Halo 2 for hours and not getting bored, I would glitch in the campaign or in custom games with a few friends. The past games were just all around fun.
