•
Posted by: thehaikumaster Put me down as being 100% in favor of the quitter bans. Also, any chance we can have a similar soft-ban for people who get habitually booted from games for betrayals? It's the uglier side of the same coin and just as, if not more, annoying to those of us who just want to play the game.
Once again im saying something here about my booting issue. I am all for the idea of a small swing of the hammer for betrayers, but i cant seem to understand how the booting thing works. When i play a game and get betrayed i almost never get the option to boot, including when its completely obvious my team mate wanted to kill me. However when the rare situation of me accidentally killing one of my own because of a small mishap, such as a misfired shotgun shell that killed my team mate but also killed the enemy, i get booted immediently. Im not asking for a drastic change, i just need someone to explain the boot system in depth so i can understand how to be more careful, because everyone has misfired the rocket launcher more than once.
