I think Daniel Day-Lewis as Han Solo and Maggie Gyllenhaal as Leia would be spot on.
I'm not sure about Luke yet, but if Boba Fett returns he might as well be played by Temuera Morrison and have Jeremy Bulloch give him advice on Boba's body language outside of action scenes.
Even though I'm not a fan of Tim Burton, he probably could work on costume designs. Dark, weird etc. Of course the previous crew is free to return as well.
I think David Fincher would be a good director. He worked at ILM, as a cameraman on Episode VI as his first job I think.
I read somewhere that he also would have liked to direct Revenge of the Sith.
As for the soundtrack, Brian Tyler might be able to pull of something worthy.
What are your suggestions?
Posted by: FastMouse I think the main protagonists should be new and relatively unknown. I wouldn't mind some cameos from the original gangsters though.
Cameos are cool.
Posted by: KoG SmashBro >Implying Fincher would even consider directing this movie
Actually I believe he mentioned that he's interested. Fincher is one of the names being thrown around right now.
Posted by: car15 Because it's not just a matter of finding someone who looks like Carrie Fisher. They need to fit the role. I don't even see much of a resemblance in any case.
I hear ya. Maybe the comparison was bad, but I wouldn't completely dismiss her yet.
