After playing Halo 4....

I'm feeling a little nostalgic right now. I miss you guys. I just played through a whole series from Halo CE(orig) to Halo Reach. And after I played 1 game of Halo 4 and there are so many things missing but you guys are the main thing missing. How could you give up your creation? I know M$ kill your horse and turn it into a camel with deadlines but you can't just give it up. It's everything you know, which is everything we know. And right now 343i don't give a damn about its community and the Halo name is being destroyed for (a very obvious observation) money. I've been a fan since day uno. The first announcement of Halo CE. I've pre-ordered every delicious limited/legendary edition you had to offer, I have collected every figurine, including the uber rare 12" Masterchief and the pair of Halo 3 Hunters. I even went outside the box for a Carter custom made helmet and a 1:1 replica of the Reach Sniper, DMR, ODST's Automag and SMG and Halo 3's battle rifle. I guess 343i just don't live up to your name, your talent. And the talent they have right now is just not for me. Gotta love sitting in the Menu for hours just listening to Martys gift. I'm cluing myself up on everything there is to know about Destiny. It's already my Cover photo and desktop background as soon as that leaked picture was released by you. But I'm a Bungie fan through and through now for 16 years. And I will continue as long as you promise to be amazing as usual. See you starside guys. JuICyBLIinGeR

 • I think this Bungie fan vs Halo fan has gone to far. It's faulty. Halo was a product of Bungie. Remove Bungie and it's likely that Halo won't be done the same way as it used to; it wasn't done the same way. Halo is--just like all other products--an entity that's defined by those who made it, or--more importantly--how they made it. It's not a question about quality, it's a question about style. Bungie is not defined by Halo, they've made lots of games. The games may be similar to one another, but they're different enough to attract different people. One doesn't have to be a fan of Halo to be a fan of Bungie, vice versa. It's a neat little cross chart. If one likes everything that Bungie's done, I guess one could be called a hardcore fan, and everything between, a nuance of fandom. If one liked Halo under Bungie, one liked Halo, that's it, that's the original. Don't try and nullify that fandom just becasue someone else is making Halo differently, that's terribly respectless. If one likes Halo under 343i, one likes an adaptation of Halo. Again, not a question of quality, but style. So don't turn it into a matter of liking Halo or Bungie, cause Halo is a product of Bungie. See you starside OP! [Edited on 12.16.2012 8:05 AM PST]
