So we have had a two week winter break my teachers said that they would enter all grades on teacher planning day, which just happened to be today. THREE teachers have yet to enter anything, they had 2 weeks plus today to get stuff entered and they still did not do it.
I know they have lives outside of school, but to day was supposed to be the day they could get down to work and put in the grades and yet three of my teachers failed to do so. I find this to be lazy, and it rather annoys me personally because I always like to know what my grades are.
So Flood what are your thoughts on this?

Go to university and then realise it happens every day.

Maybe the computer systems are down? Dunno. My history grade was just uploaded a couple days ago. Some teachers also suck.
-
I only had a few teachers (in high school) who were like that. One of whom, though, had to teach a lot of different class periods and was always swamped. It was irritating nonetheless to have stuff from one semester be graded in the next semester (which, at my school, were supposed to be completely separate in terms of grades).

I do hate it when teachers fail to enter grades in a timely manner since I can't know what I am making at the time.

I had to wait for 3 marks and they all came on the very last day (January 2nd) Kinda bs. Guess that is what happens in Uni. [Edited on 01.07.2013 11:57 PM PST]

For me the schools deadline was Jan 2nd at 4PM. One teacher still entered it after the deadline at like 7PM though which kind of annoyed me. Worst thing is he told us all our final grades at our last class which was Dec 11th.

It was quite amusing.

Teachers are no better than students. Once you realize that, you'll realize why they became teachers in the first place.
-
Yeah trying going through a 5 credit course in college and not knowing what your grade in the class is until midway through the semester and then again at the end. Nerve-racking I tell you.
Posted by: Deadlock v3 Go to university and then realise it happens every day.
I was lucky to see midterms in some of my 300+ levels

In high school I had a chemistry teacher that didn't put grades in for work until near the end of the semester, and then he was so backed up he didn't get all of the in on time.
-
I always like to wait until I get report cards, serves as a greater surprise to me, because I usually end up getting better than I thought I was going to get..

You mean teachers are human and procrastinate just as much as their students? Gasp.
Posted by: An average gamer You mean teachers are human and procrastinate just as much as their students? Gasp.
Doesn't mean it isn't something to -blam!- about.
Something you should realize about teachers OP is that they never left school, but they still hate it and still procrastinate just as much as they used to.

Keep in mind that, depending on the calendar you school uses, submitted grades sometimes aren't viewable by students until the administration signs off on them.
-
Only 3? Teh puma only had 1 teacher out of 6 input any grades over the break.
-
Teachers? Grades? Young ones here, I tell you.
-
You get your grades electronically? I wish that happened at my school. Saves the look you get from people when you get something unusually high or unusually low.

Kind of annoying, although when I was in school, this happened kind of frequently with some teachers.
