Why is Halo 3 so dead now on MP??
I went on there just now and no one plays on it anymore. Has ODST,Reach, and Halo 4 killed it that bad over the past 5 years.

Sadly, I think it's because they don't update Halo 3. So, it gets boring playing the same maps over and over, but hey. If I still had my Halo 3 that's all I would play.

Well, the older gamers have their hands tied with life (like jobs and such) and most of the younger gamers have either moved on to newer Halos or other titles. No one title will hold a crowd forever.

You serious? I've been able to play Halo 3 with little lag for the last few days.. Only thing is nobody seems to have downloaded any map packs.

Because it hasn't been updated in years. If they added some new stuff then it would probably get a ton more players.

Psssh, relax, Halo 3 still averages thousands of people. Halo PC Custom Edition peaks at 300, and it's still rolling.

Why would you want to go back to Halo 3 anyways? Reach and 4 are superior.

Sadly halo 3 is a really great game however times have changed people rather would play halo 4 or reach seeing how those are far more superior.
