For me, I'd have to say the best thing about joining BNet has been the people I've met - not only my boyfriend, but a bunch of people who've become good friends, some of whom I've even been lucky enough to meet IRL.
For you, what's been the best part of joining BNet?

Groups and friends. Also, helping the community become a better place to be. Contributing is one thing that I like to do. Joining b.net has made me a better contributor. [Edited on 12.26.2012 2:24 PM PST]

Groups, people, inside jokes, dragons.

The fine folks I've met here! It's been a while since I've played live with some of them. [Edited on 12.26.2012 2:25 PM PST]

Getting flamed.
Posted by: Forever MS I find it hilarious that in almost all of your posts you mention the fact that you have a boyfriend.
I find it hilarious that in a post where mentioning that fact was completely on-topic, someone still has to point it out. Couldn't help yourself, could you?

True Underdog is the best thing to ever happen to me on this site, me and him will love each other until the very end.

DeeJ, if you could say he's a "side-affect," and the Community. [Edited on 12.26.2012 2:41 PM PST]

The womenz.

Friends, I guess. Isn't much else I'd consider a tangible benefit.

ITT: Drama

Well my mam is certainly more satisfied

Just keep it to your self please, the less drama on the forums the better.
Posted by: Forever MS LOL, he just made his Twitter private. Looks like I really scared him. The sad thing is, I can't take this over PM, because he blocked me a long time ago for telling him not to constantly post spam! I was just trying to help him out, but he just blocks me! LOL I guess my new best side effect is the hilarious drama I've been involved with on Bungie concerning such insecure people.
Probably the increased risk for a heart attack and stroke.

Well we are the first to find about new things. Or at least we used to be...
-
getting to see the stats for my halo games, and of course getting those sexy nameplates.
-
I joined the site to see my Halo 3 stats so I suppose everything that happens on the forums can be considered as "side-effects". Just overall good times, hoping for more good times to come, I haven't really been active here before this year.

Getting to play online with users over XBL has been pretty nice.
-
All the cool people I've gotten to meet here.

Knowing the value of xbox.com and how it can solve nearly any problem.
