as complex as the human body and mind?
discuss machine vs human. what benefits do each have over another, and what fallbacks do each have?

I Robot

The human body isn't much else than an organic machine. Even our incredibly complex brain is made of billions of tiny pieces. It's not impossible to make a machine as complex as the human body, but we're just not at that point in technology right now.

Not yet. Our eyes are the most technologically advanced things on planet earth without even including the rest of the body.

HAL 9000.

No, not yet. Probably not for awhile, either.
Posted by: Zanir HAL 9000.
not even close... and why do people keep bringing up movies?
-
Can we do such a thing currently? No. Is it possible? Yes. /thread

Yes but our current technology limits us to this dream [Edited on 12.13.2012 2:07 PM PST]

Yes , but it is far from reality right now. The sheer complexity of the human brain is just unimaginable. Our brains cannot even process the scope in putting together all the "pieces" that require building a human being. When you see a robot or any other relatively complex machines, they are still in the realm of comprehension, we can build and design them and draw blue prints if we must. But the human brain is several magnitudes more complicated than even the most intrinsically designed object currently in existence. [Edited on 12.13.2012 2:24 PM PST]
