So I've been keeping this secret to myself for quite a while now. But, after all this time, I feel as if you, The Community, now deserve to know the secret that I have kept private for many months. And that secret is the joy of browsing Bungie.net on 90% zoom. It really is monumentally better than 100% zoom. You'd think that a measly 10% zoom couldn't really affect the way you view and navigate the site all that much, if at all, but it does. Very much so.
Whenever I venture back into the Stone Ages of 100% zoom, all of the lettering is blocky and child-like. It's as if the entirety of the site is spelled out like a ransom note or as if it's made of a toddler's alphabet blocks. When you see things in a 90% zoom perspective, posts are easier to read, less room on the page is taken up so you can see more things at one time, you get to see more of the sexy map of Puerto Princesa, and your coolness goes up at the very least by 50 points. Why anyone would view the site in the barbaric and monotonous "view" (if it can even be called that) of 100% is incomprehensible to me.
In summary: 90% zoom is really the only way to get the most out of Bungie.net. And now you know.

Hell naw. I'm on a 27 inch monitor with 2560x1440 resolution. If it were any smaller I'd be using a magnifying glass to read posts.

75% master race here.

I feel like I need glasses on 90 percent. I'll try it out a bit longer.

Text is a bit too small for my liking...i'll keep it at 100%....i've had no problems using 100%.

The reasonable conclusion is to never turn my lights on again and adapt my life around perpetual darkness.

You're all delusional. It's probably the 100%-zoom-lifestyle you're living that's clouding your mind. ©

I find it hard to read at 90%, but my screen might just be really small compared to yours.
-
When I zoom in too far on my phone the format gets kinda funky, I may use your 90%.
-
Zoom out? As if Bungie.net doesn't have enough empty space on a widescreen monitor anyway. Zooming in seems like a better option.
-
Although much of this issue resides with the individual, it really depends on screen size and format; I've been on a monitor that made the text seem large and childlike, but this monitor is perfectly fine with 100%.

Quickly, fetch the women and have them ready the knives and pots for stew. I? I share go out and see what nature's bounty has to offer. Be sure to carve my exploits into the stone walls when I return.

Zooming out isn't exactly possible on an iPad, and 100% works just fine on my laptop. [Edited on 12.11.2012 3:35 PM PST]

Foolish, OP. 100% club always.

I noticed no difference.

Just like how being known as the kid that picks his butt and sniffs it is not popular either. Just saying, since I'm a helpful person.
Posted by: NewRadical12 I noticed no difference.
Well it's a 10% difference only. I only know that on my screen 90% makes it way too difficult to read the text.

I might actually consider this suggestion. But now that I think about it, I don't see the point. 99% of my Bnet time is spent on my iPad/iPhone. That minute 1% is taken up by my laptop. If I changed it on my laptop, I wouldn't notice the difference.
