Can we rig the mail sack? Updated plan... kinda of
Everytime I read the mail sack I am disappointed because bungie isnt answering the one question that everyone really wants to know.
Next mail sack 12-17 I say we only ask one question, everyone in the community only ask one question, that way they would have to answer it or there would be no mail sack - can Deej really let that happen.
While I propose the one question be, give us a date of when the Darkness will end. I am open to change that.
tl;dr We need to ask One question 300 times and only that one question in the next mail sack 12-17
Update: All i said was let's rig the mail sack and all hell breaks loose. All the more reason we should try. If the release is soon tm then it's worth it to poke the bear to see what happens..... but I really don't want to be that guy and get banned forever.
How about you give us the date in some crazy geomancy puzzle this week? Those symbols still haunt my dreams. I promise we won't call a random phone number this time - right guys. come on deej.

Is it just me or was there a hint of anger/frustration in Urk's post? I'm pretty sure that as much as we want the darkness to lift, Bungie staffers probably want it even more. It must be so frustrating working day in and day out for years on something that you cannot speak about or share with beyond a handful of people. Hopefully, it's all worth it Soon(TM).

It makes me want to start looking for something, but I really don't have time to waste. I wonder if DeeJ will respond to my question about if we are supposed to be figuring out something still?

Off the top of my head, the biggest discoveries since that time was Puerto Princesca and the Concept Art leak. Geomancy was invented in Africa and traveled to Europe during the Medieval Ages, so it seems to have little relevance to Puerto Princesca. While the concept art that was revealed and the story blurb gave us a great idea of Destiny's Premise, it's not like we saw any references of Geomantic figures seeded into the artwork or the story blurb. It's something I've thought about investigating, but the evidence that would help us gain greater meaning just isn't there. It's sorta a divination thing, all those symbols together are open to a variety of interpretations, and perhaps only by looking retroactively back once we know more about Destiny might we be able to make sense of them. Perhaps I'll relook up the meaning of the figures later and see if they were perhaps foreshadowing / hinting towards The Traveler or something. I doubt we'd get anything as major as a release date though, it's definitely going to be one of those things we look back on and go "Oh yeah of course!" like the ODST picture of the Traveler.

[/quote] I am willing to change the question - in fact I thought this thread would be more of a debate on what to ask rather than what would happened if we asked. I left deej a "what if" question in the mail sack. Just so we know what would happen if we poked the bear without actually poking it. It's not worth it to lose the mail sack, but at the same time I think the entire community was crushed when we heard that bungie wasn't going to be at the VGA's If we're dark any longer maybe we [i]should[/i] rig the sack. New question - When would you resort to crazy measures, like rigging the sack, to end the darkness. Me- Sooner tm
