343 gives it out every month or so. You just have to be patient for 343 to give it out again and maybe you'll get it.

Well you could try doing the Vidmasters(if they still work). The Vidmasters were 7 achievements in Halo 3 and Halo 3:ODST combined that required you to accomplish certain feats. They ranged from finding all the skulls on the maps in both Mythic map packs to completing missions on Legendary difficulty with the skull Iron on. You can get all the achievements, but the last step required you to go to your account on B.net[b](had to be linked w/ your Xbox Live account)[/b] and click a certain button on your online Halo 3 service record. Unfortunately, since Bungie no longer updates the stats for any of their Halo games, nor do they support them, this way of getting Recon is probably obsolete. 343i gave it out to all the players of Halo 3 during a period of a few months. Since everyone had it, the armor quickly lost it's appeal

I thought you unlock it for connecting to xbox live. If it was time sensitive then you're out of luck.

343Inds stopped giving it out ages ago.

[i]Bungie[/i] only gave Recon out to those who did something impressive and then later to those who obtained all of the Vidmaster achievements. [i]343i[/i] gave it out to people in waves but not to all people.
