In Skyrim right now, I've decided that I will never fast travel on this character, so that quest lines (like the Civil war quest line) don't feel like they were over in an in game day, and to actually see the whole world that Bethesda created.

Not all the time.
-
No. Fast travel is for -blam!-.

I also like to explore on my way to quest locations.

Hell naw. I live in Bravil though. Traveling to Bruma is a royal whore.
-
For the first time I play the game, no. All times after that? Yes.
-
I've tried it, but it gets old quick.
-
Depends on my mood.
-
I've modded Beth games so much that travelling on the roads is simply too much fun to skip over.
-
No way. I know I use the really powerful weapons but I still play it normally and enjoy the game. :3
-
I don't use it because it is a feature that was designed for casuals who didn't want to pay to quick travel like on Morrowind.
-
I never do on the first go. after that, depends on how I feel like playing it.
-
Too bad you already spend half of your gametime running. Anyways, yes. Why? I only have a certain amount of time to play vidyas, I wouldn't wanna waste it! [Edited on 11.19.2012 12:28 PM PST]

Only for quests. Afterwards, I roam everywhere without fast travel.
-
I try not to. With mods like Wars in Skyrim, Monster Mod, Monster Wars, and radiance... would kinda defeat the purpose.
-
Of course I do. I don't play games for realism or all that crap people say they do. I play it to engage in a fantasy world, and to stimulate my senses as I see fit. So yeah, I do. Like S Bot, I do it because I spend my money also on this thing called reality. Where I have limited time to play vidya games.

-
I usually light to sight see, and kill random people. xD
-
Sometimes. My typical mode of travel is werewolf.

I try not to, but I end up anyways. If I'm in Solitude, and my quest needs me to travel to Riften, I'll fast travel or take a carriage.
-
Sometimes. For Daggerfall, every time. For Oblivion and Skyrim it depends on how lazy I'm feeling. For Morrowind I have no damn choice.

I sometimes fast travel. Really, the question is if I run straight towards the objective, or decide to take the roads. Both are interesting. I use it, Skyrim is really big. I don't feel like travelling half the map, then back-tracking to turn it in. It gets repetitive and I salute anyone who has the patience to do it. [Edited on 11.19.2012 12:33 PM PST]
Posted by: xImNotProx
Posted by: God Of Men You're still here?
Why wouldn't I be here?
Oh I don't know, because it gets boring bashing Bethesda games?
-
The only Bethesda RPG i play is fallout. In fallout, fast travel is essential to playing the game. So yeah, i do fast travel.
