I'm not here to raise a stink over Halo 4, I will only say I was left incredibly disappointed by it. That being said, it heavily reminds me of Sony's Twisted Metal games. Twisted Metal was a PS1-series developed by Singletrac. After two successful games, the series development was handed over to Sony's in-house development team 989 studios. The results were games generally considered poor in quality, the dark time for the series. Twisted Metal's original developers were horrified by Twisted Metal 3 and 4, and despite Singletrac's dissolving, the original developers created a new studio and took their series back, creating Twisted Metal Black and relighting the creative spark that fueled the series. I'm not holding hope that Bungie will take Halo back, simply wondering if anybody else has similar feelings on this and their thoughts.
