10/9/2012 3:41:26 AM PermalinkI have the Elgato myself. I can personally say that it's the best capture card I've owned. I would definitely recommend spending the little extra cash for it. It's the only HDMI capture card I've found that doesn't require you to split the HDMI signal. If you use HDMI to connect your Xbox to your TV then I wouldn't recommend getting anything other then the Elgato only because you'd either need to split your HDMI signal or switch to component. If you're using component or don't have HDMI as an option I've also used and can recommend the Hauppauge HD PVR. So basically: HDMI -> Elgato Component -> Hauppauge HD PVR

If encountering Party Stabilization errors on Xbox One: try turning off your console, fully unplugging, then plugging in and trying again.
