This "New Hawtness" Is Terrible.
They launch the new layout today, after spending all their time pumping us up, and the layout has nearly no changes, and in fact it looks almost identical to the original site.
Wtf, you lazy Bungie?

Here's what they added: - Bungie IM channel - one for each forum - No like button, just 'blame stosh' instead - Post with twitter/facebook accounts - New avatars - Forum Ninjas are now pink not salmon - The wallpaper is all white - No destiny forum yet Hmm, it seems only mythics have got the update so far. Maybe that's what Achronos was on about in mythic members.. This must be the beta testing.

Everyone just relax... I think if we just combine our complaints and work together, they'll just give us the old Hawtness back for the time while we wait for them to work on something better. Cobra, I think you're right about the font thing. It looks a bit darker in color though. I don't agree with the change.

I like the new layout. The colors are brighter, and the pictures of the Happy Tree friends on each side of my screen really adds a welcoming ambiance to the site as a whole. I do enjoy the "Blame Stosh" button, and I use it in between typing every word of my posts. The one thing I don't particularly like is how now, when I look up Bungie.net on my iPhone, the screen just stays blank and the message "You should have gone with Android" keeps scrolling across my screen... Way to go Stosh. But over all, the New Hawtness is cleaner, safer, and just better for my emotional health. Great Job to Achronos and all of the web team!!! :D

I for one, love how the gray of the background is more gray than it was. The grayish hue is a much more vivid gray than the previous gray. It's like Gray in HD. How can you not love that?
