Topic Limit Reached
Yesterday I hit the topic limit (or something like that). Which basically meant I had created so many topics in that 24 hours that Bungie.net wasn't letting me make any more.
My first reaction upon seeing that was to come over to the Bungie Community forums to make a thread asking about it. It took me several seconds before I realised why that was a stupid idea.
So today I have made it. Basically yesterday was the first I heard about it, and I was wondering if someone could fill me in on a couple of things (eg. how many topics per day is it? Is there a weekly limit? Does it carry over into other public forums? etc.)

I mean I could try to hit the topic limit each day for a week and I think I could just about do it (if I searched around for enough interesting news articles), but it would be crazy hard even then. I just had a lot of thread ideas that came on the same day. As I said in my OP I don't think it has happened before and I don't expect it to happen again (at least for a long while).[/quote]Meh, I'm just mad and jelly because I create a thread every two months if I really try.

I don't think there's a weekly limit, unless you count hitting the daily limit (7?) each of the 7 days. And yes, it carries to all the public forums, but i dont believe it does to privates, which possibly have the ability to set their own limits if i remember correctly. I used to hit the limit all the time when i posted Classifieds ads.

Very, very wrong. There's no way all of those threads were quality or had as much quality to them as you could've given out. Quality > Quantity because more than likely if you go for Quantity > Quality, we're going to have already seen and discussed your topics ad infinitum and thus people will either get bored with it quickly or just won't care enough to post in it.
