The name of it would be Call to Arms. It would be a parody of the action movies of the late eighties and early nineties.
Plot
A special ops team tracks a terrorist in the year 1997. (another cliché of action movies of the 80's) It would be over the top and ridiculous.
Multiplayer would have you customize your own soldier and fight in over twenty maps from the get go.
Weapons, well, there would be quite a few. Examples include the MAC-10 and the AUG, to show off. They would have unrealistic firing sound (ultra loud and fake unsuppressed, quiet as a kitten falling on a pillow suppressed)
Maps would vary in size. Teams of 30 v 30. The multiplayer would focus on fun, not on being competitive.
A map editor allows you to add buildings. Destruction as well.
Main Protagonist is your character from the multiplayer, whether it be male OR female.
Staff Sergeant Robert Gerheim is the leader. A stereotypical African American sergeant,
Sergeant Jacob Miller is the main comic relief. A few pounds overweight coming from the deep south.
First Lieutenant Rodriguez - The team's snappy (and curvaceous) female Latina pilot. Always bending over to pick up stuff, whether it be guns, magazines or other things, for obvious reasons.
Private Matthew Brockwad - A nerdy kid accepted into the team for his hacking skills.
Corporal Jack Thomlinson - An oblivious young man. Rodriguez has a massive crush on him. One scene has him recalling a time where he saved her before carrying her into the sunset, in which Gerheim corrects him.
Sergeant Max Carter is the other comic relief, since he curses all the time.
What do you guys think?

I've necrobumped this. Anymore suggestions?
Posted by: MacrabreMonster Actually, I'm not his alt. I legitimately love the idea of a campy, hilarious game on the subject of 80's action movies. Personally, I think there's a few publishers and developers out there who WOULD back it up and would help make the game, simply because it would be so fun to play. And you're dumb.
Thank you. Any other suggestions?

OP, stop bumping and same-blam!-ging with your alt account. The idea is dumb, very few people would buy it and no publisher would even glance at the idea. [Edited on 09.30.2012 11:13 AM PDT]

Guys. Let's start donating monies to get this started.

Why do people post their stupid ideas on here? [Edited on 09.30.2012 10:28 AM PDT]

This is a ridiculously dumb idea.
Posted by: MilitaryTheorist So, Battlefield Bad Company?
Inspired by, but not exactly. Mainly the humor.

So, Battlefield Bad Company?
Posted by: Swagoth Ur The character bios are straight out of Bad Company.
Well, think about it. Bad Company was a homage to 80's action films.
Posted by: MacrabreMonster We also need to have helicopters crashing all the time. Jet dogfights, and a bomb threat in New York City.
Yes. And no to the cliffhanger, but slightly. Instead have a lot of food soldiers.

It needs to end in a cliff hanger. Our heroes just finished an over the top massive battle in the main bad guy's base, everything is on fire, and the bad guy is dead. They are leaving, chuckling about how awesome the battle was... When aliens show up in stereotypical flying saucers! They lock and load their guns and run forwards, letting out war cries. Cut to credits.
Posted by: MacrabreMonster Okay, seriously. One more thing before I go. It has to have over-the-top profanity. So many F-bombs, one of the squadmates has to have a severe cursing issue, using it as a crutch, and there need to be many, MANY accusations about other squad mate's mothers. Also, the main character has to come off as the 'strong silent type' for the first few missions, until he figures out his mic was off.
Yes.
