I recently became inspired to draw the Webmaster as I see him. I portray him as a sensitive, but not too emotional, regular user of bungie.net. He's prone to inducing flame wars and forgetting about them after his pee break.
Enough rambling, I present to you my latest masterpiece: Webmaster In Chair
I'd like to know what emotions this conveys to the viewers and how I can make it better portray the Webmaster in a more human nature.

Art does not have to be pretty. It just has to be.
Posted by: Xplode441
Posted by: welder1stdegree It is what you said it is no doubt about that. Simple but effective. Have you considered a panoramic shot, with more bottles perhaps?
If I did a panoramic shot you would only see the large pile of empty beer bottles next to him and the urinal next to it.

Posted by: Doctor Jensen The painstaking amount of detail and depth you put into this piece caused me to reexamine the choices I've made in my life. Well done.
yes, I see the truth now, the webmaster is everywhere, he is everyone, he is all... o.o

Interesting. But needs work.

I think the simplistic lines and basic colouring convey the raw and primal nature of the Webmaster. This piece is a raging battle between the human and the inhuman, the tame and the wild.

(At title) how about two ganders?
-
who is the webmaster
Posted by: Izak609 Looks like he's just idling at the Bungie.net main page, thinking, and drinking...
About what? Let's use clues in the picture.
Posted by: Lobster Fish 2 I think you should now create that picture, but as if the camera was in front of his instead of over his shoulder.
I find that doing that would decrease the imagination as to what he is thinking about and what facial expression he currently has. He could be fast asleep in my picture. Also, faces are hard to draw.

I found the painstaking detail in his fur and on the computer screen to draw me in intensely. Not sure exactly what kind of shoes he is wearing, but the look like Toms. The beer bottle also accurately represents the core ideals and everything about the Webmaster and Bungie. Bravo.

Interesting...
