Devices Supported
Q:Will it work on my iPhone?
A: No Crimson: Steam Pirates is for all Apple iPad Devices.
Q: All Apple iPad Devices? What does that mean?
A: This means that this game will run on both Apple iPad versions 1 and 2, there are huge hardware capability differences between them.
Q: Will it come to the smaller iOS devices?
A: Possibly, the only real issue is controls, due to the smaller screen sizes.
Q:What about Android Tablet support?
Q: Will it come to the smaller iOS devices? A: Probably not, the reason for this is that the smaller iOS devices will not be able to run the game because of their low hardware capabilities in comparison to the iPad 1 and 2.
Whoever said that? iPhone/iPod Touch have a very powerful processor. Not to mention they can make an alternative version of the game to use different amount of performance made for the iPhone. My understanding is that the game isn't on the iPhone because the controls are too difficult to use for the iPhone. Edit: Also there is a very handy FAQ page already right here. I don't think another one is very neccesary. The hardware capability of an Ipad and an Iphone, isn't even a comparison, the Ipad has every hardware advantage as well as screen size.

It's still very powerful for any portable device. Edit: iPad 1 has the same processor and specs as the iPhone 4. Not to mention that you can release two different version games on the iTunes store, one made for the iPhone and one made for the iPad. The only issue real is the use of controls. Not to mention I talked to one of the engineers at Harebrained Schemes, and he pretty much said the only issue is controls. [Edited on 08.30.2011 3:34 PM PDT]
