Only 150 Bags left?
My friend is telling me that there were some people on one of the main forums earlier who claimed they figured out how many bags were sold using some method through Amazon.
Using the method, they found out that 350 bags were sold before it got closed. Is this true?
EDIT: So I found out the method used to ascertain just how many bags were left was simply 'Buy 501 bags, get the following error message from Amazon: "We're sorry, but there are only X amount left of this item"

Yes, Bungie said there is no more than 500 so it is logical. BTW, have you been notified if Bungie has shipped the sacks yet?

Well my receipt from amazon says it'll ship in 6-10 days and to expect it between July 7-15. You have to be lucky and I know I would not of gotten one if I didn't watch. But, think about it, Bungie does not have enough rare swag to fill thousands of bags. 500 is a good amount. Just keep watching.

I always thought that was for everytime they put them up for sale. 150 sounds like a possible awnser, but there's only 500 (not much).

Honestly, I think they have a lot more than 500 bags, it happens with every company. Bungie will probably be stocking the bags for the next few years. I mean, I'm saying anything wrong towards Bungie, but that pretty much how business works. [Edited on 06.24.2011 7:59 AM PDT]

Look I know that most of you think that I'm crazy but, I mean look at all the special edition Halo games, Duke Nukem games, Guitar Hero games, ETC, ETC, now, tell me, what do you think is going on around here? Rare editions become the video games, and doo you want to know what it's called? Marketing. Now, everyone does it, look at the past present, and wait until the near future, am I saying that Bungie is lying? No, I'm just saying companies play "the guessing game" which is also another word for marketing. Do I think Bungie will do it? It depends on what they want to do, it's their gifts, that heir giving to us. They can make as many as they want. Bungie Forever! <3
