Posted by: GLO Is Back All sound great ... except CSP was developed using Moai, and much of that done on Windows workstation (yes, its a cross platform tool - authoring on Windows). But being the 'iOS developer' you would know this. If you want to "Look it up" you can even find some cool videos showing CSP running on Windows and an iPhone, and dated prior to November. (and yes, the HBS contained your exclusive link on its web site before they the tweet was made). So unless HBS took a fork of Moai, and in that process messed up the cross platform by introducing some iPad only functionality - testing should be down to real estate layout. So back to my point. Took 12 weeks to build the entire game, on an existing cross platform toolset (and developed on a PC environment). And yet we have testing taking another 12 weeks?? Or a simpler reason ... someones idea of a marketing plan.
More conclusions. Never said they weren't developing for the iPhone 4 and 3G (not the iPhone 4S) or on other platforms, I just said they weren't going to release anything till the new iPhone came out. I don't know why you are even talking about the Moai engine. Just because they used an pre-made engine doesn't mean they don't modify it, they still had to write code to optimize it for iOS and whatever they are developing for (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and their generations). Someone at HBS had to program on a Mac using the iOS SDK. Plus, even if they are developing on a Windows environment (I've yet to see proof that they did), they still developed for the iOS platform either way you look at it.
