Awesome work, really looking forward to it. Nice to see a new firefight map <3
-
The trailer wasn't that great. I'll probably buy the maps, but god only knows how much time I'll put into them (not much).
-
NO!!! I'm not paying $10 every 2 months for 3 maps anymore!!!
Posted by: Connorwmcl Looks awesome. I like how you got some ideas from the books.
Very nostalgic.
-
who cares halo reach sucks
-
I also thought so, if you saw the trailor on Youtube it said #43 industries so thats most likely the reason. ~MB

Can't wait! It's nice that they're firefight and multiplayer all at once!
Posted by: SatansReverence
Posted by: st3althsniper22 These maps looks better than yours, Bungie.
Because looks are everything...
Well, you kind of have to expect that the gameplay and layout of the map will be as good as they can make it, so it is kind of a given or constant. And I think the art team and the designers are separate people, so by these standards look are everything. Its not like the gameplay will be sacrificed because it looks nice.

SWEET TIMBERLAND RE-MAKE!!!! WOOT! Now we need bungie to make a second forge world, this time instead of wilderness IT WILL BE A FREAKING CITY!!!! My favorite choice for a city; New Mombasa from the Halo 2 E3 Campaign demo BUNGIE PLEASE! I LOVE YOUUUUUuuuuu.....
Posted by: SoCiaLLL The one thing this game needs -- as much, if not more than a patch -- are solid arena sized maps. So far there are zero quality small maps (it's a stretch to say that Countdown and Zealot are good), that are not forged. Traditionally, the best, and most loved maps in previous Halo titles were the smaller symmetrical maps. Halo: CE had: Prisoner, Damnation, Battle Creek, Chill Out, Wizard, Derelict. Halo 2 had: Lockout, Midship, Sanctuary, Warlock, Beaver Creek. Halo 3 had: The Pit, Heretic, Guardian, and MAYBE Narrows. Seems to be a trend with less and less solid maps. So far in Halo: Reach all the maps that have been made are designed for BTB play. Of the 14 multiplayer maps so far, including these last 2, there will be 7 maps (50%!) dedicated to BTB play. It's really a shame this game is going to go to waste because of a lack of patch and/or decent competitive maps. Looks like I'll be continuing my 3 year streak of not buying a single Halo map pack.
I must dis-agree. We actually only have one REAL BTB map, and that is Tempest from the last map pack. All the other ones are either FW or Invasion, and Invasion and BTB maps are most defiantly not the same thing.

hope its 800 MS Points and hoping for some new achievements so my friend wont have 56/56 any more

I never said they were better, I merely said they looked better.
Posted by: SatansReverence
Posted by: st3althsniper22 These maps looks better than yours, Bungie.
Because looks are everything...
hey i know the songs called never forget and i have the halo 3 version i was wondering were i can get this version
-
Interesting new map... glad there is a new firefight map but we need a new forge map too. tempest doesn't really count, you cant really make much on it. we need another forge world map,
-
I felt like the music was good, but a little over the top for a map pack trailer. Keep in mind, bungie didn't do this.
Posted by: Run Away Who cares like I've said before until you take care of the multitude of problems with your online multiplayer networking issues, I'm not buying any additional content for Halo: Reach. I didn't buy the first map pack and I'm not buy this new one because halo reach has to many problems with the online multiplayer. Keep coming out with map packs but until you fix the networking issues I wont buy a single one. Halo 3 runs better online and that's all I'll play. Reach, the broken game.
Why wont anyone say what is wrong with Halo reach online? all i hear is complaing about nothing. if you are complaining be specific. i have not run into any problems. Also keep doing halo bungie. dont let it die
-
SAME i LIKE THE SONG SO MUCH i WANT IT:)
-
yes i completely agree they dont inclued enough scorpion these days not like halo 3 did either though [Edited on 02.16.2011 1:15 PM PST]

Reach needs a patch far more than it needs new boards.
-
Hey Bungie, So I feel like with Halo: Reach you gave the community the best halo game to date, so good job with that. Unfortunately, you've also made it the most expensive. Supply and Demand yadda yadda, whatever. -blam!- still sucks man. Power to the people next time please.
-
agreed
Posted by: Sol Knightt @Bungie: If you give me the song from the trailer, I promise to buy the map pack. AND I give you permission to double-check with MS that I actually bought the maps.

Posted by: HolyGRUNTY 101 The name of the song is Sacred Icon Suite 2 from the Halo legends OST. (official sound track)
Hear that Bungie? Thanks to HolyGRUNTY 101, I'll be buying the map pack when it comes out. Great song, glad to have an official version.

CAN't WAIT for the Highlands map. Some classic Halo experience it seems :D
-
