Minecraft, what do I do now?
So, I have my base near a cave and water. Got all of my stone tools and a steel pickaxe. What do I do now? Expand? Build a different base elsewhere?

If I were you I would start a Mineshaft that goes deep into the Earth. I dug down from my base and went into a massive cavern that provides all the ore I need.

Indevedit yourself a diamond pick and some tnt. Start wandering the world, digging straight down and filling the hole with tnt. Then make sure they are close enough to chain react.
