I was reviewing my submission email to the forgetacular contest, and when i click on the link to my map, the link no longer worked. This is leading me to believe I was one of the many who sent in broken links, as mentioned in the update. Does this disqualify me from possibley winning, or would bungie go out of there way to look in my file share and DL the map? =/

Same situation here; 2 of my friends got cR banned for idle guest boosting, even though they were in a full party. And as Exar Kun stated, a large population of players fequently boost in full parties this way. After all, could you imagine how pointless it would be for a party full of actual players to just sit in one place and only move now and then to avoid afk, when they could make the time far more productive by plugging in guests? isnt it funny how they didnt even clearly state anywhere, that full party boosting with guests, is considered afk boosting? i know people who have been banned for this recently, after reading a bungie post made weeks ago about full party boosters, target locator boosters, and commendation boosters not being in any danger of being banned or reset. been a fan since the birth of halo bungie, and this is the first time i can honestly say, im not happy whatsoever with what youre doing with your games.

I know that the full party method is still ok, but they're banning people who use the afk guest method in conjunction. This is a mistake, imo. Now if a few people want to boost by filling up a party with guests and players, the people with multiple controllers plugged in are going to have to be octopuses in order to not get banned!

Sad face on missing out on being fast enough for the codes. Thought it was funny that there was a ton of black space, and I have a crazy habit of continuously clicking my mouse buttons, so sure enough I saw what appeared as tech jargon at first, but quickly noticed likely XBL codes. Sadly, they were probably caught within the first couple hours and all used up. Would have been nice to nab one as my bank account digits are smaller than a majority of newborn babies' weight in ounces!!! Those new maps look great. [Edited on 12.10.2010 1:09 AM PST]

o,and you have a rule about people Not posting about other players who cheat or boost,whatever. i think thats completely backasswards. you Should have a Thread/section Specifically for reporting cheaters.. that would help you do your Job much easier,as you wouldnt have to search for them,the community would Gift wrap them at your front door eyh. just a thought. ps,example,this one guy i checked out has an average of 50-55 kills and at last count a 25 game winning streak in SWAT. please,think about that for a second..now..how is that possible. 55 kills,NO DEATHS...in Swat..of all gametypes..you are telling me nobody can kill this guy? and 55 kills..4 man teamns and 55 kills..hows that work. cmon..lets be real now...

all 3 maps are too big for most 4vs 4 gametypes = useless. the only good map is anchor 9 and even its rather large. speaking of anchor 9 wheres the damm space battles we have been beggin you for bungie since the game launched to hook us up. the number of people who are quitting games has become insane. you need to fix the system bungie,it is most definitely broken. armor lockers..from glitches to beeches,the al option is completely flawed...i just watched a video of an al user who went for 25 seconds and still had half his al gauge Left. i remember when halo used to be fun.... now,i sign in,look at the challenges..mostly always some stupid matchmaking challenges..-rollseyes- great..with a bunch of quitters and al spammers,wont that be easy.... last but most certainly not least..i just read your thread on how you were gonna swing the banhammer on boosters,cheaters,etc etc..even. yet on your own forum,Right here,theres a ton of people boasting about how they cheat the system and dont think you will do a thing about it. so whats the truth? because until you fix whats broken,there really isnt any sense in regular people playing the game is there? why waste their/our time,when you wont enforce your onw rules??

Thank's for putting up codes, I already have the map pack but it's still really awesome on your part. Also props for going after idlers. Any advice on how to handle people who force you into betraying them just so they can get the warthog or scorpion tank?

agreed. i was playin a team once where 2 out of the 4 players just stood around, so i essentially got 10 or so free kills off the other team. needless to say, its your reputation and stature thats at stake when you idle. agree?

Don't start a match if you know you can't finish it (your mums making dinner), please for all of us. 2. If you go AFK for a while, the controller will power down and kick you out of matchmaking, so no problem 3. They (probably) just because you went AFK for a few minutes, especially noy in the end. They'll look for a habit (is always AFK/goes AFK after 5 minutes/keeps jumping the whole game). You still got the possibility to eat, visit the ladies room etc if you must, but don't make it a habit, and don't stay away more time then necessary. [i]"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"[/I] I bet you appreciate if your teammates stay the whole game and ain't "away" for more time then necessary, and the same goes for them. A nice and honest gamer has never got anything to fear from Bungie/the Banhammer ;)
