  • I have a question regarding spawning for objective games. If I have a symetrical map with a large selection of spawn points, & I'd like to use one particular area exclusively when objectives are 'away', how many (and of what type) spawn zones do I need? Also, do I need to place individual spawn zones for each game type (CTF, Bomb, etc.), with Game Type Specific = True as the 'away' zone?

  • I made an assault map and added both the "as_bomb" and "as_goal" making them both team specific and tried it with one person on each team (it let us play it and didn't say "map and gametype incompatible") but when one of us went to plant the bomb it would not plant. Can you help please. Thanks.

  • Whenever I spawn a custom powerup on Forge World and then let it go, it moves down from that location, even if I put it on fixed. I even tried putting it on normal and then placing it on the ground, but it just sinks into the ground as if it was phased. Has this been addressed yet?

I'm doing a puzle map where you have to be on foot and I need the race checkpoint system.

  • im trying to put more than 6 territories on a map but when i go to game options it only has the option of max territories as 1 or 5, so no matter what i set it to, it only keeps my first 5 terries on the map when playing a game. is there another setting somewhere im missing? thanks

  • Yo JonnyOThan, I've made a very cool team-rocket race map variant on forge world. My question is: Why is the option "teams" automatically put on disabled in the general game options in the custom game lobby? While I've put initial spawn points for example team red, blue, green and yellow. Can you explain to me how I can enable the teams option for my race map variant?   • Is there a way to lock a vehicle in place other than within the game options menu? My map is a fairly small map and vehicles wouldn't be very useful. I'm looking to use them more for aesthetic reasons/set pieces, and keep it that way no matter what the game type. If I remember right I used to lock them in place in Halo 3 using the teleport or bomb spawns. Now those just seem to fall through the vehicles.

  • Your game blows The following events, ACTUALLY happened to ME. I join a forge game Leader ends game I go to matchmaking I go back to forge The map I joined is now in the recent history, AND it's already choosen as the map. Cool right? BUT WAITTTTTT!!!!!!!! BUNGIEEEEEE LOGIC!!!!!! Scenerio #2 I join a forge game I like the map Leader ends game I go to matchmaking I go back to forge Wanting to save the map BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBUT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not in my recent history Not in my local files Not in my "last played map will show on that playlist" <--- (You know what I mean.) So why is this incosistency even occuring? P.S. It was a friends map, and not in his file share, and not anywhere, he's offline for god knows how much longer aswell.   • I have a question regarding Infection spawns. Okay I understand that you must place the spawn on Red team for Humans to spawn there, and on Blue team for Infected individuals to spawn there, but what does Inf_Haven mean? I don't even know what Safe Havens means? I put every initial spawn for humans on "Inf_Spawn + Red Team" (Same with Respawn points) I put every initial spawn for zombies on "Inf_Spawn + Blue Team" (Along with the respawn points) Why does it still tell me "This map variant is not compatible with this game variant"? Thanks in advance, sorry If I didn't read the front page well enough, I looked over it multiple times, and something tells me that havens word needs to be defined in order for me to understand..
