Not getting credits
Title says all. Why am I only getting 50 cR for beating campaign missions on normal? Im doing pretty damn well and my friends are earning 500+ a mission, while I only get the 50 for completing it.

When you play offline, you get no commendation progress. All the credits you earn throughout the campaign come from commendation progress. You're basically playing custom games.

True. I know what your talking about. I am an Inheritor (MAX RANK) but i cant take my Credits online, (Thanks Bungie!) but when i play campaign, i got NO credits. so i only like Warrant Officer grade2 because they wont let me take my Cr online, i have like 4 mil. but they're being mean. :( Please bungie? let me take my cr online? I WORKED for it! :(

Bungie said this in a update. if you connect an account to gold xbox live on Reach then that account is considered to be an online account. they made it where online accounts don't get many credits for non-matchmaking games. if the account was offline and not a gold account on reach then it would receive more credits. I assume your friends where non-gold online reach accounts so they would receive more credits.

if you have played reach signed in to xbox live even once every time you play offline you get pretty much nothing same happend to me but at the moment im playing legendary campaign online and each game im only getting 70 cr when i used to get about 5,000 cr if i remember correctly

I have seemed to notice that commendations lower the amount of Cr you get.

Maybe you all have silver commendations............... once you hit silver they stop netting you cR per action. ie- If you are getting headshots (dome inspector or whatever) you may get like 10 cR per headshot UNTIL you hit silver. Then you get 0

I am in the same boat, I normaly get something like 1000 credits per mission though over the last day or so it has dropped to almost nothing. What give's? [Edited on 10.01.2010 1:02 AM PDT]

Add me to the mix here. I am connected to live, but only getting 50 credits for pretty much all of the offline stuff that I do. Hughesnet means that I can connect to Live, but can't do any multiplayer. I am going to bring my 360 to work and see how it does on a regular broadband connection.

same thing is happening to me... i connected to online on another xbox and still same results... could it be because of a closed NAT? and how can we go about changing this to make it so we get full credit for putting in this work?

I still don't know why i'm only getting 50 cR. Can someone help me out? I only get completion cR's, like, when i'm done playing something, but get no cR's for doing things like multikills or sprees. [Edited on 09.15.2010 1:20 PM PDT]

Yea, I have gold but I dont have internet in my dorm right now. This is messed up, im putting in all this work and getting no cR for it. Not fair...

Are you offline playing with an online account? that's what happened to me, i just connect to the net when im campaigning it up! hope that helps.

See if turning campaign scoring on helps. I didn't get a ton of credits for beating the game on normal today, but I'm pretty sure I got a lot more per mission than 50.
