Right now on TV, a JetBlue A320 trying to land at Long Beach (near Los Angeles), its front tire is spun sideways, they are circling over the ocean dumping fuel. It's going to be BAD.
edit - I'm not joking this time, I know my last thread was sarcastic, but now i'm serious.
edit 2 - Thank god, that pilot landed it PERFECTLY. Amazing.

Kennedy International Airport.
How on earth did the pilot pull that off?
Turned around, and flew to the longest runway, then circled it for almost two hours.

I saw the landing (I don't think it was live), it was beautiful.

And as far as that pilot, AMAZING, can you say cover of Time Magazine?

The only reason it was on the news was because they thought they could boost their ratings with a live plane crash. :p
-
Watched it live, good they're ok.
-
oooooo sparkly. Everyone is safe I watched it live. Kudos to Cpt. Davis!
-
That was smooth flying. Took five or six seconds for the second wheel on the front landing gear to touch the runway after the first did! -blam!-ing -blam!- that was awesome. A lot of people could have died if that landing gear strut snapped.
-
rita=3rd strongest hurricane ever....maybe becoming second.....but the plane landed...yea!!!!!!!!!!
-
Damn. He's good. I bet all the passengers love him/her. I wish I could fly like that!

To much news to cover. Plane crashing, 3rd biggest hurricane ever, and tornadoes in a major city.
