I believe You can not download any DLC from original Xbox Titles anymore. [Edited on 02.05.2010 3:17 PM PST]

Yeah me too. This sucks I can't play it online without the maps. I have the maps but it says that they are damaged. =(
-
Mine says damaged too. Maybe we can beg someone to put them back up for a month???
-
Seems like all Xbox Original DLC has already been pulled. The only way to obtain the maps now is if you but the map pack disk they released a while back. [Edited on 02.05.2010 3:34 PM PST]

Yeah, this is very annoying. After I heard about the servers being shut down, I want to play some Halo 2. Says something about the maps when trying to go to match making. So I go to content download to re download the maps and it says "Could not download content list. Please try again later." I went to my 360 HDD and deleted the maps and cleared the cache, but it still does the same thing. How are we supposed to give Halo 2 a send off when we can't even play it?!
-
Guess you can't, unless you can snag a map pack disk from Gamestop or something. Microsoft hates us. At least they could have gave us warning before they shut the DLC servers down...
-
The thing is, I already had the maps and it still wouldn't play.
-
Yeah, dunno. Happened to me when my 360 got the RROD. Wouldn't work on the new console, so I had to re-download them. Sorry bro, you're SOL :( I still got them on my original Xbox, so I'm good to go.
-
I'm in the same boat, i have all the map packs except for the Blastacular Map Pack, i paid for them on my original xbox and even bought the multiplayer map pack disc, but they never released a disc for the blastacular map pack so they are gone forever. It is pretty insane to get rid off all the dlc content though without any warning for all xbox games, but that is how Ms rolls, Thank you for buying our product would you like to buy it again with a shiny package, don't worry it will be gone in a few years but thanks for your money.

Calling Xbox support. Not expecting much from it though.

-
This also means that when/if I were to have or go to a LAN party, won't have the maps for that either. It's a sad, sad day. :(
-
This is complete bull-blam!-. Some people can't even play because Microsoft decided to shut down the DLC servers. WTF. -blam!- you Microsoft, you might as well have just shut it down today without any warning.
-
I have wrote to as many people as i could i am sure it will not get us anywhere, maybe Bungie can help so we can all get back on and play before it ends.
-
Still talking to support.
-
Crap! Bungie, please remove the map restrictions for matchmaking! Please!
-
Vots keep us updated i'm sure they won't tell you much though..
-
Total Crap! Everyone should call!

Okay, 45 minutes later and this is what I got. Microsoft is slowly discontinuing certain parts of the original Xbox servers. At the support center, they weren't entirely sure if Microsoft took the content offline or Bungie. I did tell them that it's becoming a problem for quite a few people and it's going to become an even bigger issue if there's not a fix for it. Especially since Bungie's having a farewell day. He went on to tell me that his supervisors said that it's possible Microsoft might offer the content one last time through Xbox.com or something like that. And they're also waiting for responses from Bungie regarding the DLC and any plans they may have for that farewell day. He also said we haven't had any complaints thus far, but they do realize it's an issue. So if everybody just takes a few minutes to complain about not having the DLC available, it might help out a lot.
-
You can email them at https://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/nxe/emailsupport.aspx
-
Nice you got an actual response from support.. I will let them know too. Although if Bungie had done it, they would have said something about it.
-
I spent 45 minutes on the phone with MS support about this issue. I SO wanted to up my stats before they shut off and my DLC is corrupted as well. Their support was blind-sided with the issue. I had to be escalated to level 2 support and after hold-juggling, they finally told me I was SoL. I have a supervisor callback scheduled in the next 24 to 48 hours. They're getting an earful. If they don't fix it, I am demanding compensation from them for this fiasco. I suggest you all start doing the same.
-
Bungie themselves need to look into this. If they can't work anything out they should at least let go of the DLC restrictions in matchmaking.
-

All I got for an answer to the problem was to wait an hour and try again later. I hate calling any support numbers for anything, and as of now they still don't work.
-
It's support, I never expected anything anyways. If I have to complain until April 14th to get these maps put back up, I will. Just so I can play Halo 2 online one last time.

It's bad enough that after April 15 it will be a thing completely of the past, but I know that I can't join in for Halo 2's last moments of life! Goddamnit! I just want to enjoy playing Halo 2 on XBL one last -blam!- time!!!
