Xbox 360
Ok I'm stupid, but a friend just asked me this and I know I can ask you guys for answers. Why exactly is it called the 360 agian?

I don't know the official reason, but I always assumed that it was to keep up with the PS3. I mean, if you hear Xbox 2 and Playstation 3 you would automatically think the PS3 is better because it has a higher number. But if it's the Xbox 360 then both of them have a 3, plus the Xbox has some more numbers after it for extra coolness.

Yeah... that... or to simply be numerically better than the PS3. [b]Edit:[/b] I also interpreted it to mean that the thing is starting a revolution in the gaming platform industry... and a circle represents a full revolution. But... I'm an uninformed yes man, so I only count as 2/7 a person. [Edited on 6/23/2005]
